Start with the six-day fair window
The 2026 Twin Falls County Fair runs Wednesday, September 2, through Labor Day Monday, September 7, at the fairgrounds in Filer. The vendor page requires exhibits to operate noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, then 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Monday.
Those vendor hours are not a promise that every exhibit, stage, carnival ride, or arena event follows the same schedule. Pick the anchor activity first, then use the dated event calendar for that day's details.
Know what paid gate admission already covers
The fair describes its Community Stage, rotating family shows, Ag Pavilion demonstrations, Kiddie Land programming, and petting zoo as included with paid fair admission. “Free entertainment” on the site means no additional show ticket after entering the fair; it does not mean the fair gate is free.
The Junior Rodeo is a different exception: the organizer lists Wednesday-night spectator admission as free. Competitor entry deadlines and fees are separate, so use the participant instructions only if someone is entering rather than watching.
Rodeo nights are separately ticketed
The Magic Valley Stampede runs Thursday through Saturday, September 3–5, at 7:30 p.m. The fair asks ticket holders to be seated around 7 for pre-show entertainment. Current rodeo ticket listings say fair gate admission is included.
That inclusion matters at checkout: a rodeo ticket is not simply an add-on to a gate ticket. Verify the wording on the exact night and seat you buy, because prices and sections differ and the current listings say sales are final.
The Sunday concert also includes the gate
Jo Dee Messina with John Morgan is scheduled Sunday, September 6, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Shouse Arena. The official ticket page lists several seating tiers and says concert tickets include fair gate admission.
Online prices can include processing charges and can differ by tier or purchase date. Use the fair's ticket page—not a search snippet or resale listing—for the amount you will actually pay, and check the all-sales-final language before completing the order.
